Welcome to the 2018 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting. This year’s combined symposium and meeting event is being held in Boston, Massachusetts at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel, located in Boston’s thriving Seaport district. The Westin Boston Waterfront is less than three miles from Logan International Airport, and a short walk or cab ride to the historic North End, the Financial District, and Boston’s scenic Back Bay. Boston is one of America’s oldest cities, founded in 1630. Boston played an historic role in the American Revolution, most notably known for the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Siege of Boston. Today, Boston is a thriving city known for its world-renowned universities and colleges, its state-of-the-art medical facilities, its finance, hi-tech and bio-tech industries and its network of museums, which, among many others, include the New England Aquarium, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and the Museum of Science. Boston is also home to many professional sports teams including the Boston Red Sox baseball team, the New England Patriots football team, the Boston Celtics basketball team and the New England Revolutions soccer team.
This year’s technical program includes a wide range of technical sessions, workshops, and short courses, as well as numerous exhibits. It also has a number of activities dedicated specifically to students and young professionals. This event is the premier international forum for the exchange of ideas on state-of-the-art research in antennas and propagation and radio science. Through a range of technical and social activities, it provides the opportunity to interact with the world's leading experts in antennas and propagation and radio science from academia, industry, and government.
We welcome you to join us for an exciting program in Boston in July 2018!
