The conference has been organized to provide you with excellent opportunities for networking and interacting with your colleagues and has exciting, unique social activities planned for all family members.
The technical program has 187 oral and poster sessions and 13 Special Sessions. These cover a vast range of state-of-the-art research areas in the field of antennas and propagation. Full day and half day short courses are scheduled for Sunday, July 7 and Saturday, July 13, providing you with an opportunity for more in-depth interactions with leading researchers in the field. The student design contest and the student paper contest finals will be held during the conference. Be sure to stop by the exhibits area to meet with industry representatives and learn about the hardware and software products they have to offer.
The symposium is being held at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista hotel at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is within walking distance from the Disney Downtown Marketplace, the home to Cirque du Soleil, with unique shopping and dining opportunities and entertainment for all ages. The conference hotel offers the Disney’s Extra Magic Hours benefit to their guests, where each day one of the Walt Disney World parks opens an hour early or stays open up to an extra three hours. Orlando is renowned for its many attractions including Epcot, SeaWorld, Universal Studios along with Busch Gardens and Legoland which are a short drive away. The conference hotel is located close to many restaurants with options to satisfy all palates and close to several shopping malls, including the Premium Outlet mall. You will not want to miss this opportunity to explore the magic and excitement that Orlando has to offer.
Our social program is specially designed to appeal to all members of your family. The conference reception will be held on Tuesday, July 8, at the Disney Epcot World Showcase Lagoon. All conference attendees will have an unforgettable opportunity to watch ‘Illuminations’, the spectacular laser light and fireworks display from a designated private area.
We would like you to have a technically stimulating week and a most memorable visit to Orlando. We look forward to seeing you here in July 2013.
