GENERAL HELP
- This CD-ROM can be used on all Windows, Mac, Linux, IRIX, AIM,
Solaris, and HP operating systems.
- The CD-ROM has been designed to work on Netscape, Mozilla, Opera,
and Internet Explorer.
- The graphics on the main pages make use of JavaScript. This
feature may be turned on or off by turning on or off your browsers
JavaScript permissions.
- It is strongly encouraged to download a current version of your
browser. Some of the browsers may be obtained at the following links

- The back button on your browser may not work when going to the

- You may search this CD-ROM in several ways.
- Search by Abstract Title allows
one to view an alphabetical listing of all the abstract titles. The
session and number of each paper is given on the left hand side of the
screen and is linked to the pdf file.
- Search by First Author's Last Name
allows one to view an alphabetical listing of all the abstracts sorted
by the last name of only the first author listed on the abstract. A
linkable session and number is given on the left hand side of the screen.
- Search by All Authors' Last Name
is similar to the above except all the authors' last names are included
in the sorting. The abstract is listed for each author.
- A user selected string search
can be performed on any page. It is suggested the this search be
preformed on the Search by All Authors' Last
Name page as this page contains the most complete set of data. This
search can be performed on most browsers by pressing the control key and
the letter F at the same time.
- If you read the PDF files with a version of Adobe Acrobat Reader
eariler than 5.1 you may experience problems
- If you receive the error message of: "This application uses CTL3D32.DLL,
which is not the correct version. This version of CTL3D32.DLL is
designed only for Windows NT systems." simply ignore the message.
It is an erroneous message generated by an old version of the
CTL3D32.DLL file. For more information, you may wish to visit https://www.ipc-software.com/TechSupp/Christmas%20Common/Tech_6.htm
or search the web for other information on this older Windows NT
operating system file.
